Direct answer: choose the operating model before choosing the interface
Claude Code can read a codebase, edit files, run commands and work with development tools. Anthropic documents access through a terminal, IDE integrations, a desktop application and the web. That makes it more than a chat window, but it does not make any surface automatically suitable for every production workflow. The practical decision is to match the surface to the repository, task, approval path and evidence your team needs. A controlled implementation should define permitted actions, review checkpoints, test evidence, rollback responsibility and final ownership before autonomous-looking work begins.
Anthropic describes Claude Code as able to build features, fix bugs and automate development tasks across files and tools. It does not promise that generated changes are correct, secure, accessible, performant or ready to deploy. CreatikLab therefore treats the agent as an execution participant inside an engineering system, not as the accountable owner. For a commercial project, the deliverable is not merely generated code: it is reviewed code, reproducible validation, documented decisions and a handoff that another developer can maintain.
